GARY ENGLAND - FOUNDER/COO
EPS is lead by Gary England, an industry veteran at 7 years and comes from an Industrial Design background. Starting off with UltraSmart Controls in San Diego California as Regional Sales Director he worked closely with project developer Ready Dot One and control software company LocBit. Gary was appointed Director of C&I Battery Solutions for St Louis based Regent Power and was instrumental in setting up their Missouri and Illinois markets. In 2018 Gary launched England Power Solutions and based it in Indiana. At the end of 2018 he struck a deal with angel investor Jerry Daigle and has continued to push the company forward in a new and growing industry.
Gary has run companies from VDS a network installation company for a national music sampling system, E&A a hospital strength and fitness facility design consulting firm, Applied Strength Technologies strength and fitness equipment manufacturing and American Big Guys a national custom apparel retailer.
In between businesses Gary coached Division 1 Track and Field at Auburn University, University of Kansas, Villanova University, University of Central Florida, and Tulane University. He keeps his hand in coaching as the director of the American Big Guys Throwing Team a nonprofit team, he founded it 1989.
Gary is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Fine Art, in Design.
As a member of the Alabama Track and Field Team Gary won the SEC and NCAA Championship in the shot put.
MICHAEL ARATA - CEO
Michael Arata has spent the past 25 years developing new industries and creating new businesses in a wide range of fields including film and television production, tax credit and incentive financing, disaster recovery and remediation, solar power and complex environmental litigation. He established a successful law practice in 1993, representing large corporate clients and small "mom and pop" businesses in complex billion dollar environmental litigation, as well as a thriving practice focusing on the needs of startup businesses and new technology companies. Mr. Arata incorporated significant public service into his law practice focusing on the needs of veterans, the homeless, and the neediest in his community of New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2012. he helped created PROJECT HOPE and worked with the areas poorest performing elementary schools and organized legal aide, medical care, eye and hearing testing, and mental health care for the students and their parents. Mr. Arata is also an accomplished and award winning producer in the entertainment industry, having produced and financed over 20 films and television shows which have been acquired and distributed by Sony Pictures, MGM, NBC, Lionsgate, and PBS among others. Mr. Arata also incorporated community service work into his entertainment career, and in 2002 he helped create one of the nation's only arts program for the disabled, Art A La Carte.
Mr. Arata is a graduate of Tulane University, where he was a member of football team under Hall of Fame Coach Mack Brown, and a graduate of Tulane School of Law.
JERRY DAIGLE - INVESTMENTS ISSUES
Jerry Daigle is General Counsel to Advantage Capital Partners, a private equity firm.. Jerry is primarily involved in structuring the firm's capital-raising transactions and regulatory compliance and has represented the firm in connection with its investments in numerous portfolio companies. He also serves on the Member of the Board of Directors of Broadband iTV, Inc.
STEVE ENGLAND - SALES TRAINING
Steve is President of England Custom Homes and serves as a new home design consultant/builder. With decades in sales, Steve has extensive experience in sales techniques and philosophies. He has many awards as top salesman in multiple industries.
LAURA JONES - SMART CITIES
Laura is the principal partner of Regent Power, LLC as project integrator serving the renewable energy and Smart Cities industry. Adept at leveraging partnerships, alliances, sponsorships, and other collaborative ventures, she will utilize relationships she has developed in the industry’s corporate sector over the past twelve years. Laura sits on the Board for St. Louis Regional Clean Cities as Treasurer.
ALI RAZBAN - ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING
Ali is the Director of the Bachelor of Science in Energy Engineering Program and Assistant Director of the AIC.at IUPUI Ali is versed in Energy management, energy efficiency improvement, energy & quality auditing. Razban received the Ph.D. in Robotics and Automation from Imperial College, UK, the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
